Our Story
Mode Design House began as a personal journey.
MDH was born from a deeply personal realisation: “a home is more than just a physical space—it’s the foundation of who we are and how we grow”.
When Nicole became a mother to three beautiful girls, she experienced firsthand the profound role a home plays in shaping who we are. Moving into a new space, she realised how the energy of a thoughtfully designed home could inspire, nurture, and support growth.
From these experiences, Mode Design House was born. Today, we bring this philosophy to every project—designing homes that reflect your past, embrace your present, and inspire your future.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, we draw inspiration from the natural world around us. The ocean, hinterland, and even the unique Australian wildlife influence our work, creating homes that feel deeply connected to their surroundings.
